Each time you complete an assignment, feel free to turn it in and I will review it and give you any appropriate comments.
I recommend that when selecting fields for going into business that you seek a field that best answers the following questions in the following order of importance.
- 1. What is your passion? Do you have a sense of your life mission? What is it that if you spent every waking hour of your life doing it, you would be the happiest person on the planet?
- 2. What is your core competency? What are you better at than just about anyone else; and in what fields would this ability give you a competitive advantage?
- 3. In what fields do you have the best natural network of human resource connection; where you know people through whom you can leverage yourself, through their knowledge, experience, contacts, resources and capital? Do you know people in that field with whom you would love to collaborate and with whom you share mutual respect?
- 4. Which of the fields that best answer the first 3 question sets offer the highest potential return for your efforts? Which ones offer the highest level of scalable growth? Which are the simplest to pursue and succeed at offering growth with the least amount of stress and life complications? Which is the easiest to get other people excited about and anxious to support your success?
Notice nowhere do I ask what field can create the highest income? Or, what field has the most wealth creating potential?
If you choose a field using the 4 compound questions above, it will be the field in which you will earn the most money and create the most wealth available to you given who you are and what you are capable of. More important you will be happy and secure with who you are and your place in life. Everyday of your life will be filled with excitement and sense of purpose and accomplishment. The money will be there as a natural consequence of your choice and actions; a delicious icing on an incredible cake.
